The goal of the moderation plugin, at least of the first version, is to help site admin moderate inappropriate content from real members, not to prevent automated spam. It’s a different animal and is more core-related, it’s being discussed in this thread on bp.org.

Idem Bowe and Sarah; it would be great to have such a plugin where you can moderate content. If I had to force-choose for one option, that would be it. Nevertheless, extending the photo album plugin to accept all kind of media is something I think most users will welcome. Even I thought about making something like that for my site starting from your plugin ^_^ while waiting for a non-third-hosted nor paid plugin to appear.

Whether you code one or another, I hope you get to the top at GSC, and thank you for the already great BP album+
